We are part of a broader ecosystem of researchers, practitioners, and activists committed to champion and advance the commons in different sectors and fields.
We are organically linked with the Tallinn University of Technology and the Kopli93 makerspace in Estonia which provide us with strategic partnership opportunities in Eastern Europe. We also maintain ongoing affiliations with the Open University of Catalonia, Harvard University (US), University of Vigo, Autonomous University of Barcelona and University of Thessaly in Greece. Beyond the academic sector, we have initiated the creation of the Epirus Living Lab in our region in order to coalesce the capacities of diverse socially oriented organisations active in the fields of energy, rural development, refugee integration and more.
Epirus Living Lab is an open innovation platform, which we co-instigated, that provides a real-life and society-representative environment for researching, co-creating, testing, and validating new solutions and organizational models.
By integrating sustainability, digital transformation, and social inclusion, it bridges research and practical solutions. With cutting-edge infrastructure, EU funding expertise, and global partnerships, it drives impactful, community-led innovations for a resilient and thriving future.
