Enerwise resulted from the public procurement process of Climaborough Horizon Europe project, which attempts to bridge the gap between design and implementation of urban innovations, particularly in the face of climate change and its consequential needs for adaptation and mitigation. Enerwise will produce a community-based solution comprising horizontal and vertical applications for monitoring energy consumption in 5 school buildings in Athens, Greece. It will provide tools and activities to monitor energy parameters, engage a variety of stakeholders and support behavioural change.
P2P Lab leads one of the three interventions that will be deployed in Enerwise. The intervention will implement activities that raise awareness about the energy consumption habits of citizens and bring forth practices towards energy efficiency and flexibility. We will establish an effective capacity-building toolkit to realize the reduction of energy consumption in public buildings and neighbourhoods through behavioural change.
