RISTOR revitalises two abandoned municipal buildings in Demati (Greece) and Dardha (Albania), transforming them into Rural Innovation Centers for Sustainable and Inclusive Tourism. These cross-border hubs will offer training, business incubation, cultural programming and community engagement, empowering local entrepreneurs and residents. By promoting accessible and heritage-based tourism, RISTOR strengthens rural economies and enhances regional cooperation.
P2P Lab leads the accessibility and inclusivity dimension of RISTOR by conducting accessibility studies, co-designing local plans, and ensuring that both Centers integrate inclusive, user-centered design. Drawing on its expertise in participatory research and community-driven innovation, it develops methodologies that make services welcoming to underrepresented groups. Through training, stakeholder engagement and capacity-building, P2P Lab ensures the Centres become models of equitable and community-rooted tourism.
