Katerina Troullaki

Katerina was born a dreamer and studied engineering. The cοmbination is hardly favourable for productive work but is empowering whenever in life and research she can embrace the contradictions. In research, she is exploring the space where technology, sustainability, grassroots communities and transdisciplinary approaches converge. Currently a PhD candidate in the Technical University of Crete, her doctoral research explores research approaches for assessing the sustainability of a production system based on grassroots innovation and the commons.
